Security cameras are an important aspect of any serious security system. There are a myriad of camera designs and capabilities available to the average consumer. Knowing what your specific needs will be is important when purchasing surveillance equipment.

PZT (Pan, zoom, tilt) cameras have become very common security options because of their versatility. These cameras can rotate 360 degrees, move up and down, and can offer varying zooming capabilities. Many of these cameras can be wired into your motion detectors and will automatically focus on the area around the activated sensor.

Many security retailers will offer security cameras in value packages. These are often sold as 2-4 camera systems. Purchasing these packages can sometimes save you money over purchasing the cameras separately.
